Use any view
With the Revit Add-In Paintbrush, you can use any view to interact and select elements. If you need to map parameters based on item categorization or spaces, use Paralink instead.
Get, get linked, set
You can get parameters from one element and set the parameters in one or more other elements. However, that’s not all! You can also get from elements in linked files. Simply press “Get linked” instead of “Get”, select the instance object you want to copy from in your linked Revit file and use the tool as usual.
Remember
This is a potential life saver. What if you want to copy some parameters from a link that is currently unloaded? Well as long as you tell it to, Paintbrush will remember them for you!
