Ever spent hours looking though your model to find out how many elements contain a certain material? You don’t need to spend that time anymore! Material Googles is a Revit Add-In that groups elements in your Revit model based on their materials.
Categories
All you’ve got to do is to select the categories you’d like to look at, such as walls, and voila Material Googles will group all the materials in the categories you chose.
Color and count
It doesn’t stop with grouping. Material Googles will also color and count the materials it found for the categories you selected. This is a great quality control tool that allows you to work with materials in a visual way.
External and internal
It’s not just the outside, the inside matters too. Material Googles takes into account the materials of the exterior faces and the materials of the inner layers.
Isolate the group
Want to make edging easier? You can also isolate the groups in your view. Want to switch to another view? Don’t worry, the addin will show the colored groups there too.
