Informed design is sustainable design
The most important decisions on a project’s environmental impact happen early. That’s why we focus on integrating performance analysis tools from the very start of a sustainable design process.
Whether it's daylight, carbon, or energy use, we can help architects, urban planners and municipalities make better-informed choices by software that is custom to their needs and workflows, empowering truly sustainable architecture.
Our custom tools and workflows can guide design changes but also generate clear documentation to support compliance with sustainability regulations. From strategic analysis to regulatory reporting, we enable teams to design with purpose and with proof, and with the long-term resilience of buildings and communities in mind.
Components

Microclimate tools
We create integrated tools for analyzing environmental conditions directly within your design workflow. Simulate and visualize sunlight hours, solar radiation, and wind patterns early in the process. Link solar performance to photovoltaic system sizing, and interpret wind results to improve comfort and natural ventilation. All outputs are delivered in your preferred design software, whether Rhino, Revit or other, to inform geometry and orientation decisions.

Carbon (LCA)
We support software to conduct full life cycle assessments (LCA) of your designs, from early massing to detailed development. Whether you're estimating carbon impact with minimal inputs or using detailed quantities from a BIM model, our custom software can scale to your needs. The tools can extract and structure relevant data automatically and generate documentation aligned with local regulations. From quick carbon snapshots to in-depth LCA reports, we help you track and justify sustainable choices across every project phase.

Metrics & Dashboards for Sustainability
We create custom interfaces that combine all critical sustainability metrics, carbon, daylight, microclimate, with other project drivers like cost, gross floor area, and typology. These dashboards allow teams to compare scenarios, visualize trade-offs, and align design decisions with project goals. Our tools can help you shift from isolated metrics to integrated thinking, so the decisions are data-driven.

Mapping biodiversity
We're interested in developing tools that support the integration of plant species and ecological data into architectural workflows. While we don’t have a ready solution (yet), we’re actively exploring ways to map species distributions across sites and generate Revit objects for them, so that biodiversity becomes visible, actionable, and part of the design narrative. This can include importing species datasets (e.g., planting plans, GIS layers, or Excel inventories), positioning native species based on ecological rules or landscape zones, and generating parametric planting objects in Revit. These objects could carry embedded data for species, spread, habitat, and maintenance, creating a bridge between ecological intent and project documentation. We’re eager to collaborate with ambitious architecture and landscape practices to prototype new workflows for nature-aware BIM. Let’s design tools that make room for ecosystems, not just buildings.
